The beta
Autumn 2026 · ten to thirty people.
Selione is finished enough to be lived in, and not finished enough to be launched. Between the two there is you: a small group of people who use it as they would, say what hurt, what confused and what mattered, and judge their own Echo when it asks. This page says what you get, what we ask, and what we never do.
What you get
- The whole of Selione, on the web and on iPhone and iPad: Iphthimé, the quests, the voice journal, the Night's notes, your Echo and its blind trials, the Envelope. Nothing is held back for the beta.
- Your first 7 days free, and a code worth one more month. The code is entered once, on the welcome screen or on your plan page, and it adds a month on top of the free week. After that the subscription is $11.99 a month or $119.99 a year, unless you cancel; nothing is charged while the code's month runs.
- The app, through TestFlight. Apple hands beta builds out by invitation: tell us the email of your Apple ID and the invitation comes from Apple, with the TestFlight app. Android comes later.
- A direct line. Help inside the Sanctuary reaches a person, and so does the channel for the one thing we want to hear most: that something here hurt you.
What we ask
- Use it as you would, a few minutes a day, for a few weeks. A stage opens on the light you gather, never on a date, and no day asks more than 30 answers.
- Tell us what was wrong. A sentence that rang false, a question that should never have been asked, a screen that lost you, a night note that missed. From Help, or from the channel for harm when it is that.
- Judge your Echo when it asks. “That is me”, “that is not me”, “true, but not to them”: your judgement is the only measurement of fidelity that exists, and it stays about your archive unless you open a separate door.
- Bring someone who loves you, if you want the blind test: they try to tell your Echo's answers from yours, and you see the score.
What we never do
- No advertising, no resale, no model trained on your life without a separate yes to a separate question.
- Nothing published about you, ever: a measurement names a system, never a person.
- Nothing you told is lost when the beta ends or when you leave: your archive stays readable, exportable in a documented file with its own reader, and erasable in one click.
- No pressure to stay. Saying no, or stopping, removes nothing from anybody.
How it starts
One email, no password. Your key arrives, Iphthimé asks for a first memory, and the welcome screen has a field for your code.
Already inside? The code can also be entered on your plan page. One code per traveler; a code that has been used, or has expired, says so.
